Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach

Homes on the island ask more of tile than most. Primary baths with marble-look walls and large walk-in showers, natural stone that has to be sealed against salt air, pool decks and coping that live in sun and chlorine, and outdoor kitchens and fireplaces on the lanai. That is the same work in the Perfect Touch gallery, done by the owner himself.

Large showers in marble-look porcelain, travertine pool decks, stacked stone outdoor kitchens, and stone sealed for salt air.

“I cannot say enough good things about the work done on my bathroom tile. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely excellent. He was consistently on time every single day, which in itself is rare and deeply appreciated. He worked efficiently, stayed organized, and clearly takes great pride in what he does. The quality of the tile work is outstanding. Every line is precise, the cuts are clean, the layout is perfectly aligned, and the finished result looks truly professional and high-end.”

David Kushashvili, Google review · Bathroom tile

“Konstantin did an amazing job with something very difficult and delicate. We needed a single large piece of tile removed from our shower to do some plumbing work behind it. He removed it perfectly and put a replacement tile back over the work after the plumber was done. I am so Impressed by the work he did. No issues, scratches or cracks. Looks like nothing ever happened. 5 stars from me.”

Faheem Guirgis, Google review · Shower tile repair

“Konstantine was very good at repairing my cracked tiles and he also renovated my bathroom from a tub to a walk in shower. His work was neat and very high quality. He is reliable and very easy to work with. I recommend him highly.”

What’s under the tile is what lasts.

Tile is the part you see. A shower stays dry and a floor stays flat because of the layers under it. This is how Konstantin builds a wet wall.

  1. Solid baseSlab or framing checked for flat, plumb and sound.
  2. Backer boardCement board, never drywall, behind wet-area tile.
  3. WaterproofingA bonded membrane over walls, floor and bench. Grout is not waterproof; this is.
  4. Full-coverage thinsetMortar on the floor and the back of large tiles, so nothing sounds hollow.
  5. Tile and groutLaid out so cuts land in the corners, set flat, grouted, with flexible sealant in the corners.

How a Perfect Touch shower is built

From vision to perfection

Four steps, one person accountable for all of them.

  1. Consultation

Call or text photos of the space. Konstantin visits your space, hears what you want and gives you an honest, written estimate.

  2. Design and plan

Pick the tile and the layout together: where the cuts land, how patterns meet the niche, which way large tiles run. Every detail matched to your style and budget.

  3. Installation

Demo, prep and waterproofing first, then tile. Clean, professional and on schedule, with the job site cleaned up at the end of the day.

  4. Final walk-through

The job is not done until you are 100% satisfied. Every grout line and every edge is checked with you before Konstantin calls it finished.

Common questions

How much does tile installation cost in Jacksonville?

It depends on the square footage, the tile, the layout and what is under the old surface. A shower with a niche and a bench costs more than a plain tub surround, and large-format or natural stone takes more time than standard porcelain. Konstantin looks at the space in person and gives you a free written estimate before any work starts.

Who will actually do the tile work?

Konstantin, the owner of Perfect Touch Tile & Stone, does the work himself. He is the person who comes out to look at the job, gives you the estimate and sets the tile. That is why reviews mention him by name: on time every day, clean cuts, straight lines and a clean job site when he leaves.

How long does it take to build a tile shower?

Most custom showers take about one to two weeks from demo to grout. Demo, framing repairs and waterproofing come first, and the membrane needs time to cure and pass a water test before tile. Benches, niches, mosaic floors and large-format slabs add time. Konstantin gives you a schedule with the estimate so you know which days the bathroom is out of use.

Who installs custom tile showers on Amelia Island?

Perfect Touch Tile & Stone, a Jacksonville tile company in business since 2005, builds custom showers, stone floors, pool decks and outdoor kitchens on Amelia Island and in Fernandina Beach. The owner, Konstantin, estimates and sets every job himself and is rated 5.0 across 15 Google reviews. Call or text (904) 614-5333.

Is Perfect Touch Tile licensed?

Florida does not issue a state license for tile setting, so no tile installer can show you one. What you can check: Perfect Touch Tile & Stone Inc. has been an active Florida corporation since 2005, it has a 5.0 rating across 15 Google reviews, and you can see photos of past jobs before you hire.
